About 5000 people are displaced due to flooding caused by heavy rains on Tuesday in Pariang County in Unity State, according to the county government.
All the roads connecting the county capital to the payams are cut, as well as the road from Pariang to Yida to Jamjang
County Commissioner Monylang Minyiel Thon Thewel said that in Biu Payam a women died with her three children due to the flooding.
