Security personnel in South Sudan’s capital Juba announced that they arrested five suspects allegedly involved in money counterfeiting in residential areas.
A source who preferred anonymity told Radio Tamazuj that the five men were in a criminal group and were in possession of fake 30,000 SSP and 200, 000 US dollars.
He pointed out that two South Sudanese criminals among the group were arrested in possession of forged South Sudanese pounds at Sherikat area on Thursday, while the three others were arrested in possession of $200,000 in a raid conducted by security organs in Jebel area on Friday.
