A big fire gutted Sudan’s Blue Nile television station building on Wednesday morning destroying a major studio and wounding one of the workers, forcing the channel to stop broadcasting, a source said.

The source told Radio Tamazuj yesterday that the fire broke out in the morning due to an electrical fault. He pointed out that the Civil Defence Forces managed to control the fire.
