Meanwhile, the information officer Matar al-Sheikh said they have run out of sorghum at the market, which worsened the humanitarian conditions of local residents and South Kordofan refugees who are living in the area.

Matar called on local authorities and humanitarian organizations to provide help to the needy people as soon as possible.

Separately, Matar said cases of kala-zar disease increased to 51 patients. He added that health facilities are lacking medicines, while warning of health disaster if medicines are not provided by next week.
