Fashoda State governor, Al-Tayib Ajak, has urged the state’s citizens to embark on food production to improve the country’s economy, a local lawmaker said.
The chairperson for the state assembly’s committee for information Philip Akol told Radio Tamazuj on Tuesday that the governor made the appeal in his speech before members of the state legislative assembly on Monday.
The state governor, according the state legislator, pledged to give priority to the education sector by trying to look for enough money.
The state lawmaker noted that the assembly passed the governor’s speech.
