Farmers worried about growing season in South Kordofan

A number of farmers are worried about the success of the growing season in South Kordofan as they are lacking fuel, seeds and arable land to aid the process. Professor Ibrahim Hassan of the Farmers Union said the high fuel prices and lack of land suitable for farming may cause a food crisis, if the crops are not cultivated. He appealed to authorities to intervene and assist with fuel and seed to encourage much needed agriculture.
