A man was killed by unknown gunmen at El Kadaro, Heiban in Sudan’s South Kordofan state. Police identified the victim as Mohamed Muwai, 20, but could not trace the perpetrators.

Speaking to Radio Tamazuj yesterday, several local residents said Muwai was shot dead by an unknown armed group when he was on his farm.

Some residents the killing is related to an unresolved tribal conflict between the Kadaro tribe and the Awlad Ghbush Arab clan.
