A family in Aweil East County of South Sudan’s Northern Bahr el Ghazal State is searching for their 10-year-old girl who they say went missing late last month.
John Mel, the maternal uncle to the girl told Radio Tamazuj Nyiru Garang Bol went missing on 28th January 2022 in Mangartong Payam in Aweil East County and her whereabouts remain unknown.
“I am asking everyone to help me look for my niece Nyiru Garang Bol who got lost in Adhotich village of Mangartong Payam, Aweil East County. We don’t know where she is. If anyone finds her, please report to the police,” he said. “I have opened a police case but there is no result up to now.”
Another family member, Joseph Tong, says the girl is of sound mind and also called on the public to assist them to locate the girl so that she is reunited with her family.
