Local authorities from Nyaramong village in Apuk East County arrested one person on Friday after he was alledged to have killed a man who impregnated his sister. 

“That was an accident happened in a place called Bek at Nyaramong village in Apuk East county. That man who was killed impregnated somebody’s lady. The brother of the lady hid himself in the bush, and when the man came" the brother killed him, said Daniel Anyuon Chan, the commissioner of Apuk East county in a phone interview with Radio Tamazuj on Tuesday.

Anyuon said that the incident had caused high tensions between the two families, and deputy governor Santino Akot Abiem intervened to bring peace. 

The commissioner appealed to the community of his county to not take laws into their own hands but seek legal procedures.
