Family demand police investigate murder of two brothers in Juba

The family and colleagues of two brothers shot dead after leaving a bank in Juba last Thursday are calling on police to investigate the murders. The two men working for Eagle Money Transfer company were gunned down in broad daylight not far from the parliament.

Radio Tamazuj previously reported that the shooting happened at Seven Days roundabout near Hai Maona in Juba in the late afternoon, after the two men had left their office near JIT Supermarket in Juba town

They were shot dead after being pursued at high-speed by gunmen on a motorcycle. Their own motorcycle driver survived with injuries.

A witness yesterday told Radio Miraya, “At first these people shot at the boda boda rider and he fell, then the unknown gunmen came and shot at the two boys called Oliver and his brother. These people were shot when they were already on the ground... they were speaking in Arabic and after that they collected the bag that had a laptop and they took off.”
