Fallata, Arab, and Dinka Ager discuss peaceful coexistence in Upper Nile

The British-based organization Concordis has organized a peace and coexistence conference between Fallata, Arab, and Dinka Ager tribes in Melut county of South Sudan’s Upper Nile state.

In a statement to Radio Tamazuj on Monday, Chief Philip Nyithon of the Dinka Ager said the conference which concluded last Sunday is held every year between border communities to avoid clashes between Sudanese pastoralists and the local farmers when they enter into South Sudan for grazing.

He added that they have identified grazing points and that the administrative leaders reaffirmed that they will not go beyond these points.
