William Ezekiel, former official spokesperson of the SPLM-IO advance team in Juba, declared his loyalty to the government of Salva Kiir on Friday.
In a statement to Al Wattan Arabic newspaper in Juba, Ezekiel accused the newly nominated opposition leader and First Vice President Taban Deng Gai of “practicing tribalism” within the party.
The former rebel official explained that such divisive policies were also practiced by Riek Machar, saying he decided to join the ruling SPLM faction led by President Salva Kiir.
