Residents at Abu Salalah administrative unit in Al-Salam Locality in Sudan’s South Darfur State have complained about increasing prices of consumer goods at the market with the people’s demand to buy commodities for Eid Al-Adha.
A number of citizens who spoke to Radio Tamazuj yesterday said that the prices are on the rise these days as families prepare to celebrate Eid Al-Adha.
A citizen said a sack of sugar rose to 650 SDG, and a sack of sorghum is 600 SDG, while a kilo of meat costs 40 SDG, saying other commodities also rose.
