The El Daein football team triumphed with a three-to-one score against Nyala in a match held on Monday at Freedom Square in El Daein, the capital of East Darfur State. The event, attended by a large audience, was organized to commemorate Independence Day.
Mohammed Saeed Al-Istibari, the administrative supervisor of the Nyala national team, expressed gratitude for the warm reception in El Daein and highlighted the Nyala team’s participation in various matches, including the cup match.
Abdul Rahman Jaboura, the head of the El Daein team, thanked Radio Tamazuj for hosting the event and emphasized the significance of the match as a way to foster community bonds between Nyala and Daein. El Daein has been providing refuge to thousands of displaced people from Nyala since May, escaping violence.
