Egyptian doctors offer a free medical clinic in Wau

A team of seven Egyptian doctors is in South Sudan’s Wau State to offer free medical services this week.

A team of seven Egyptian doctors is in South Sudan’s Wau State offering free medical services at Wau Teaching Hospital.

Addressing the media upon their arrival in Wau on Monday, one of the doctors, Doctor Nasser Issa said the doctors will be in Wau till Friday aiming to treat at least 150 patients.

“The team is specialized in eye diseases and surgeons, heart specialists, as well as abdominal specialists and pharmacists and we, can also do consultations for other illnesses," he said.

The doctors who are affiliated with Saint Paul’s Orthodox Church in Egypt said this is their first time in Wau but promised to visit again.
