Egypt’s Minister of Irrigation and Water Resources Mohamed Abdelaati arrived in Juba Wednesday for bilateral talks with South Sudan on water cooperation.
The visiting Egyptian minister was received at the airport by South Sudan’s Minister of Irrigation and Water Resources Sofia Pal Gai.
Speaking to reporters at the airport, Minister Gai said that the two countries will sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on four water projects to be implemented in South Sudan.
“We will sign a memorandum of understanding on four projects, one project will be in Kapoeta East, and another one in Kapoeta North and the remaining projects will be in Tonj South and Gogrial East Counties respectively, “she said.
