Egypt’s irrigation minister in Juba for talks

Egypt’s Minister of Irrigation and Water Resources Hossam Moghazy arrived in Juba Monday for four days of bilateral talks with South Sudan on water cooperation.

Egypt’s Minister of Irrigation and Water Resources Hossam Moghazy arrived in Juba Monday for four days of bilateral talks with South Sudan on water cooperation.

Moghazy said the two countries will have a Joint Technical Committee meeting in the presence of South Sudan’s Minister of Electricity and Dams Jemma Nunu Kumba.

The Egyptian official also disclosed that they will also open three boreholes in Juba.

Egypt’s minister was accompanied by 23 experts representing ministries of irrigation, agriculture, electricity, health, and education, as well as youths and sports.
