Egypt PM discuses S Sudan embassy for Cairo

Egypt’s Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab met with South Sudanese officials to discuss building an embassy in Cairo, Egypt’s State Information Service reported.

Mahlab met with South Sudan’s Minister of Electricity and Dams Jemma Nunu Kumba and Juba’s ambassador to Cairo Anthony Kon.

They spoke about allocating a plot of land to build a South Sudanese embassy in Egypt.

During the meeting, Kon offered condolences to the prime minister over lives lost in the recent attack in Sinai.

He asserted that South Sudan backs Egypt in its war against terrorism and voiced confidence in Egypt's abilities to fight militants.
