Eastern Equatoria governor appoints new press secretary

General Louis Lobong Lojore, the governor of Eastern Equatoria State last week issued an executive order appointing Aliandro Lotok Paul as the new press secretary in his office. 

“In exercise of powers conferred upon me under Republican Decree No. 51/2020 and in accordance with schedule B (6) of the Transitional Constitution of the Republic of South Sudan, 2011, and considering Article 99 (2a) of the Transitional Constitution of Eastern Equatoria State, 2011, I, Louis Lobong Lojore, Governor of Eastern Equatoria State, do hereby issue this Executive Order for the appointment of Mr. Aliandro Lotok Paul in Grade 3 Super Scale, as Press Secretary in the Office of the Governor, Eastern Equatoria State, “ the order obtained by Radio Tamazuj read in part.

The appointment was effective from 21st December 2020.

Aliandro Lotok, who has been a South Sudan Broadcasting Corporation (SSBC) senior news anchor, replaces Oringa John Godfrey who served for four years as press secretary from the tenure of the former Torit State and acted in the same position with the return to 10 states.

Oringa John Godfrey, the outgoing press secretary on his Facebook page thanked the state leadership for allowing him to serve and wished his successor good health and luck in his new appointment.

Oringa John was not assigned any new role.
