Renovation of dykes is still ongoing in Twic East County in South Sudan’s Jonglei State, a local official said.
Dau Akuei Jorkuch, Twic East Commissioner, told Radio Tamazuj that the renovation of the dykes was started last month and is still continuing until now.
The county official further said the maintenance will be completed by the end of July. Dau commended the state caretaker governor John Kong Nyuong for supporting the renovation of the dykes in the county.
