A drunken motorcyclist was nearly killed after hitting his bike into a water tank truck in Juba, according to an eyewitness.

The motorist was reportedly rushed to Juba Teaching Hospital while in critical condition. The incident occurred on Sunday evening at 6:00 p.m. on Gudule Road.

The motorist who hit himself was running at a high speed trying to overtake from the wrong direction.

Residents of Juba complain that such incidents are increasingly especially during weekends. “There is no single weekend that passes without accidents in Juba,” said Juba resident Angok Marko.
