Speaking to Radio Tamazuj on Monday, Commissioner of Maban county Luk Sadalla Deng said the hospital and all health facilities in Maban have run out of drugs.

“We have shortages of drugs in Maban hospital and this is the biggest challenges facing the citizens who are going to the hospital but did not find drugs” said Sadalla.

He cautioned of health deteriorating if the issue of drugs shortages has not been addressed before the rainy season starts.

Sadalla said the national ministry of health has sent the monthly portion of drugs to the county but was not enough because of the rising needs and number of populations.

Separately, the Commissioner confirmed the arrival of Easter Nile deputy governor with the state security advisor to assist the security and humanitarian situation in the county.
