Drinking water crisis in Khartoum worsen

Citizens in residential areas south of Sudan’s capital Khartoum have continued suffering shortages of drinking water after seven days.

Residents of Jabra, al Nuzha, Muhandisin, and al Fetihab areas called on the National Water Corporation to urgently resolve the water crisis.

Meanwhile, many citizens have gone to the street of Khartoum protesting the water crisis.

According to a citizens who spoke to Radio Tamazuj, a barrel of water in Bloc 2 in Hejiliah area in Omdurman locality now costs to 100 and 120 SDG due to the outages of water in the area.
