Dozens of people have fled to Aweil Centre in Northern Bahr el Ghazal state after armed clashes erupted recently in Western Bahr el Ghazal.

Commissioner of Aweil Centre William Deng confirmed the arrival of the displaced people but said he is not sure of the exact number.

Minister of Agricultural in Aweil said last week that a number of displaced people from Wau have arrived in the area and are need urgent assistance.
