Displaced people living in Shamshaga and Khor Deleb in South Kordofan are suffering from food shortages.

A source told Radio Tamazuj that the International Red Crescent delivered 'dura', the staple food in South Sudan, to the displaced people in the Abbassiya area. The amounts provided are insufficient to feed all the displaced people.

The source explained that the IDPs appealed to the local authorities of Abbassiya for support, but they have failed to act.
