A number of displaced people in the UN Protection of Civilians site in Malakal of South Sudan Upper Nile state said their houses in the town have been seized by other people.
They called on the Joint Monitoring and Evaluation Commission to ask those who occupied their houses illegally in Malakal town to evacuate to avoid problems upon return of displaced to their homes.

Yor, displaced in Malakal, told Radio Tamazuj on Sunday said some women who went out of the camp to collect some firewood found most of their houses were occupied by new citizens.
He added that monitors who are overseeing the implementation of the peace agreement should look at this issue to avoid any problems after the return of the displaced people to their homes.
