Families recently internally displaced in Northern Bahr Al Ghazal have complained of the harsh humanitarian situation.

They said they have had to escape their villages which were caught in fighting between Sudan and South Sudan.

They also said they have received no humanitarian assistance from the government or organsiations, with many families living under the trees for shelter.

A number complained of exposure to the relentless heat and lack of basic services such as water, medicine and good.

They appealed to local officials and organisations to help them by providing desperately needed assistance.
