Displaced families currently living in Roseires outskirts in Sudan’s Blue Nile State have reported outbreak of skin diseases amid shortages of medicine in the area.
Thousands of Sudanese villagers were displaced by fighting between government troops and SPLA-North rebels in Blue Nile state in June.

Speaking to Radio Tamazuj, several displaced people said they were suffering from skin infections, while complaining about increasing prices of medicines at the market.

The conflict-displaced people called upon the State Ministry of Health in Blue Nile and aid organizations operating in the area to visit them in order find solutions for the skin infections before their health conditions deteriorate further.
