An annual peace conference between the Rizeigat and Dinka Malual tribes is expected to be convened next week in Northern Bahr el Ghazal state in South Sudan, according to a traditional leader.
El Hadi Burma, member of the Rizeigat native administration, told Radio Tamazuj that the annual meeting will discuss issues pertaining to grazing and border trade as well as social peace between the two tribes.
He pointed out that the meeting is a follow-up on resolutions previously agreed by the two tribes. The Rizeigat tribal leader disclosed that the expected meeting will coincide with the seasonal migration of the Riziegat into South Sudan for grazing.
Burma did mention the specific date for the conference.
