A peace conference between youths from the Rizeigat and Dinka Malual tribes was convened yesterday at Nyamlel area in Aweil West County in Northern Bahr el Ghazal state, according to a local official.
Garang Kuac, Aweil West Commissioner, told Radio Tamazuj that the meeting started yesterday at New Sudan Hotel in Nyamlel area.
He said the conference aimed at consolidating social peace between border communities between Sudan and South Sudan. He revealed that there would be another meeting of native administration leaders from the two tribes on Wednesday.
