Condolences poured in after the Rizeigat tribe paramount chief Saeed Mohmoud Musa Madibo passed away in Ad Daein town in Sudan’s East Dafur.
The 85 year old Madibo died on 2 August.
The deceased’s family expressed their gratitude to those who participated in the memorial service including Dinka Malual chiefs from Northern Bahr el Ghazal State.
Mustafa Bakhit, member of the memorial service committee said”the family of the late Saeed Madibo although they are in grief because of their loss, they are grateful to those who participated”.
Bakhit pointed out that they also received a condolence message from former fist vice president of South Sudan and prominent opposition leader Riek Machar.
Madibo was selected to lead his tribe in 1993.
