At least 14 people have died in an outbreak of diarrhea among South Sudanese refugees in Al Fardous camp in Sudan’s East Darfur state over the past three days, an elder at the camp said.

At least 14 people died of diarrhea at the camp this week, said Al Fadil Issa Ahmed, from the Fardous refugee camp.

He told Radio Tamazuj yesterday that many refugees have also fallen sick with diarrhea amid acute shortages of medicines.
