The Deputy Governor of Unity state Mabek Lieng has appealed to the citizens of Panyng County to stand behind the new county commissioner William Deng.

"Deng is the top government official in the County, therefore I want you to assist him so that he can govern the County, besides that he is the one who will pass your message to the State authorities in Bentiu" the deputy governor says.

Addressing a reception ceremony for the newly appointed Commissioner, Lieng confirmed significance of unity among the people in the State.

The official also called upon the citizens to assist the commissioner in terms of development, peace process as well as unity in the County.
