South Sudan’s Foreign Minister Deng Alor Kuol will participant in the revitalization process of the 2015 peace agreement in Addis Ababa as a leading member of the SPLM-FDs group, and not as foreign minister in the coalition government, a government official said.

Mawien Makol Ariik, the spokesperson for South Sudan’s Foreign Affairs Ministry, told Radio Tamazuj on Sunday that Deng Alor will participant in the revitalization forum in Addis Ababa as a leading member of the SPLM former detainees group, and not as part of the unity government.

Meanwhile Ateny Wek Ateny, South Sudan’s presidential spokesman, said the coalition government will be represented in the revitalization forum by a team led by the country’s minister of cabinet affairs Martin Elia Lomuro.

For his part, the spokesman for former detainees’ group outside in exile, Kosti Manibe Ngai said their delegation will be led by former SPLM secretary general Pagan Amum while the former detainees group in Juba will be led by Deng Alor
