The number of travellers killed in recent ambush along the Yei-Juba road has reached at least to 30, a spokesperson for the SPLA army said.
Brig. Lul Ruai Koang, spokesperson of the SPLA army in Juba, told Radio Tamazuj yesterday that several wounded civilians fled to the bush after the attack, but they were later found dead.
On Saturday, several government officials reported that about 21 people including women and children were killed and 20 others injured in an ambush at Ganji area along the Juba-Yei road.
