A delegation of the Ministry of Animal Resources and Fisheries visited Bentiu, the capital of Unity State, on Tuesday to investigate the spread of diseases amongst cattle in Unity State.

Arnio Barnelo O'Shey, director of the Department of Research at the Ministry of Animal Resources and Fisheries told Radio Tamazuj that after an initial examination at the northern border of Unity State they were able to conclude it is not East Coast Fever.

He added they only found some minor illnesses such as an allergic reaction in the eyes, which he attributed to the presence of toxins in the grass.
