Thieves broke into the state-owned radio station in South Sudan’s Wau state on Sunday evening, looting valuable equipment.

Thieves broke into the state-owned radio station in South Sudan’s Wau state on Sunday evening, looting valuable equipment.

Louis Aleu, director of South Sudan Radio and Television in Wau, said in a press statement that unknown gunmen broke into the station and took equipment and programs.

“The criminals broke the doors and took everything in the station, so we have stopped our work,” he said.
