A woman committed suicide after a fight with a co-wife in Yeri County of Amadi State on Sunday, a local official said.
The incident took place at a village in Dari payam.
Speaking to Radio Tamazuj on Wednesday, Thomas Juma, the payam administrative director said the deceased, identified as Nyukolu Paul Kulang, fought a co-wife her husband had recently married.
He said the case of the deceased, a mother of one, is still being handled within the family before it is presented to state authorities.
