Authorities in Gok State have arrested a suspected criminal on charges of looting the properties of traders in Cueibet market at night, according to State Police Commissioner Major General Azuma Mangar Chep.

The suspect known as Tito Maciek will face trial in court, the police officer said. The Directorate of Criminal Investigation (CID) made the arrest on Wednesday.

The police commissioner thanked the state citizens for sharing information with the security apparatus in order to stabilize the state from thieves and other forms of evils. He warned people who have such things in mind to refrain from such a practice.
