13 year old girl dies in car accident in Mingkaman

Awerial police reported that a 777 police Land Cruiser killed a 13-year-old girl on Monday. Phatic Dhal, Awerial County crime investigation officer, says Awerial Police arrested the driver and detained the car for investigation. Dhal has appealed to the family of the deceased to be patient and allow the law to take its course.

Another car accident in Kator, Juba

Two men and a woman were hit by a vehicle in Kator residential area of Juba last Friday, 12 February, residents said. The vehicle reportedly left the road and hit a house. The driver who was suspected to be drunk left behind the vehicle and fled.

Police arrests a suspect in connection to death of woman

Police authorities in the newly created Gogrial State say they have arrested a suspect linked to the death of a woman. Last week, the body of a woman was discovered at Mulo market in Gogrial State. Akoon South Police inspector Arou Deng Wol says the accused person has been transferred to the county main prison in Gogrial West County.

“We received information from residents in the village that there was a man moving with a woman in a time when the incident happened... We found [his] boot [print] on scene where the deceased was killed,” said the inspector.

Twic police arrested woman in connection with murdering her husband.

Police authorities in the newly created Twic State say to have detained a woman allegedly linked to the death of her husband. Police investigator Ayii Deng Ayii said Wednesday that the deceased has died of head and ribs injuries. Police says four murder cases were recorded within two months in Twic State. The incident occurred in Riau payam of Turalei on Tuesday.
