Bodaboda robbed

A commercial motorbike operator was robbed at gunpoint on Sunday night in Nyakuron area of Juba. He blamed his client for allegedly conspiring with the gunmen to carry out the robbery. “I carried the woman and she said to me stop here. Then I stopped but as she pulled out money in her wallet she started talking on phone in her language, delaying to give me money.”

“Before she finished the call I saw two men on another motorbike, then she ended the call. These men then told me to give the key. I did hence I lost the motorbike,” he said.

Dozens on trial for crimes in Wau

More than 30 suspected criminals accused of rape and violent robbery have been taken for trial in court in Wau, Eye Radio reported. They are being tried by a special court set up to handle these issues. Officials said some suspects were taken for the hearing without written charges.

Three arrested for selling stolen goods

National Security personnel arrested three people on suspicion of selling government drugs at the private ‘Tender Clinic’ in Yambio, Western Equatoria State. The three were found selling medicines and fifteen cartons of distilled water believed to have been stolen from a health facility in Nzara County.
