Crime roundup: Gunmen exchange fire with security forces outside ministry

Police guarding the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs compound exchanged fire with unknown gunmen this week, according to a source who works for the ministry.

No one was injured during the fighting, although a door and window were damaged.

This is the third time gunmen have attempted to break into the compound, which is also shared with National Relief and Rehabilitation Commission. Last month, police shot dead two thieves trying to steal money from the offices.
