At least five members of a family including three children were reportedly killed in an attack by a policeman in Kuacjok town in South Sudan’s Gogrial State on Thursday evening.
An eyewitness told Radio Tamazuj that a police officer opened fire on a woman and her children and killed them on the spot in Kuacjok town.
The motive of the attack by the policeman remains elusive.
The same source said that the perpetrator surrendered himself to the police after the incident. Radio Tamazuj couldn’t reach police authorities in the area to comment on the matter.
