A local non-governmental organization has distributed hygiene materials in Mvolo County in Western Equatoria State to help local residents combat the spread of COVID-19.
Speaking to Radio Tamazuj on Friday, David Domuto, the executive director of Mvolo United and Sport Association (MUYSA) said they distributed water jerrycans, soap and sanitizers in public places in the county.
He said they will also support people in Mundri and Maridi counties.
Domuto pointed out that a door-to-door awareness campaign on COVID-19 is ongoing, but they cannot reach all citizens due to “limited budget.”
Isaac Togule, the county executive director confirmed that the organization had distributed hygiene materials in markets, churches and county headquarters.
