Construction of three bridges complete in Yei River State: official

Luka Nyombe, Kajo-keji County Commissioner said construction work of three bridges along the Kajo-Keji-Yei road has been completed recently.

Speaking Radio Tamazuj yesterday, Commissioner Nyombe stated the Kaya-Koni-Kayibu bridges are now accessible, saying the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) handed over the completed projects to his office.

“The three bridges have been completed and I really need to thank the Chinese company for constructing these bridges along the Kajo-Keji-Yei road,” said Nyombe.

The commissioner commended the national government and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) for supporting the projects.

The local official called for more support to build a bridge along the Kajo-Keji-Juba road and other developmental projects.

The construction of the three bridges was funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and implemented by the UNOPS.
