The Community Empowerment for Progress Organization (CEPO) has opened computer training classes for citizens living in the Juba protection sites as well as an adult literacy program for 200 elders.

Supported by UN Women, the project started in the first week of May and will continue for nine months. 100 students are taking part in each Juba camp in the first three month. After their graduation with certificates, another group will be trained.

Jane Faida, the project officer for the PoCs program, said the 200 adults will be graduated after nine months. She said, “We are expecting the people after education to improve their lives.”

A similar program is running in Minkaman IDP camp but she say it is run there by another organization.
