Complaints of lack of basic services in Ibba County, Western Equatoria

The Commissioner of Ibba County in South Sudan's Western Equatoria state Tito Gersama says there is lack of basic services in his county, especially water sources and education.

Speaking to Radio Tamazuj, he said the county is lacking water sources which forced the residents especially women to walk long distances searching for water.

“We are having a problem of water because the number of the population has increased,” said Gersama.

Gersama also complained of lack of teachers in primary schools and lack of training, calling on the concerned authorities to provide water sources and education services in the county.

He was speaking on Radio Tamazuj's With the Commissioners program aired this evening.
