Residents of Yei town are complaining of a network cut, according sources who recently came from the area affected by the cutoff in Yei River State.
The telephone network reportedly cut off since Thursday up to the press time.
Although the town is calm and government and NGO offices work as normal, residents fear of uncertainty. “People don’t know what will happen,” a source said.
Fighting erupted in Juba on 8 July and as the result Yei-Juba was closed. Many people from Yei have fled for safety to refugee camps in Uganda and DCR.
