Prices of most commodities are stable at the market in Pariang town in South Sudan’s Ruweng State, a municipal official said.
Silvano Moi Malek, Mayor of Pariang town, told Radio Tamazuj on Friday that prices of consumer goods were stable over the past week.
“The market was witnessing skyrocketing prices, but commercial trucks have recently arrived in the town and the prices have dropped,” he said.
“The price of one malwa of maize has shifted from 225 to 180 pounds and the price of a sack of flour has decreased,” he explained.
