A commercial airplane has finally been granted security clearance by authorities at Juba International Airport for direct flight to Pochalla.

A commercial airplane has finally been granted security clearance by authorities at Juba International Airport for direct flight to Pochalla.

The aircraft operated by Dream Air, a local aviation company carrying 14 passengers on board, left Juba for Pochalla yesterday.

Pochalla Commissioner Jay Adingora Alual, who was among the passengers, told Radio Tamazuj yesterday that the flight was taking development to the hard-to-reach area of Pochalla.

The official further said the commercial flight will encourage business people to take their goods to the area.

Security agents had ordered the aircraft to cancel its flight to Pochalla over security concerns after SPLA soldiers had detained an aircraft belonging to UNHAS in Pochalla County last month.
